As an Adult Social Worker, I have a keen interest in the experiences of LGBTQ+ adult people with dementia accessing and using social care services and facilities. More specifically, my interest focuses on developing and implementing successful strategies for LGBTQ+ individuals and communities to have better experiences when using social care services.
In addition, I am particularly interested in raising awareness about LGBTQ+ issues within statutory settings, such as Local Authorities and governments.
